I really have to question these cards with a single blower fan, if nvidia switched to a dual fan for the FE then they obviously knew a blower wasn't up to it. Yet there's a couple listed with a single fan blower.

Gaming has a larger heatsink, possibly a higher factory OC, and an extended warranty of 4 years instead of 3.

Thanks for that, when the prices come to a reasonable level I think the Gaming is the card I'd go for. The Strix is just way too expensive.

Both cards will go higher than them clocks with a bit of luck and tweaking in Afterburner, buy the cheapest one, I have.

Since I have a 1080Ti and don't game at 4K, no. However, if I was a 4K gamer I would be all over this. 4K is finally viable.

I think you're right. I got a b grade 1080ti for £389 from ocuk and I think I'm going to be sticking with it for a while.

That said, it isnt just the price that is holding me back from the 2080 ti. Theres also the issue of displays not able to fully utilise the power of the new cards, as well as the lack of support for DLSS and RTX in games right now.

In a gen or two my wallet will hate me I'm sure.
