I am tempted to go the Skylake route as it's not to badly priced.
My reaction also, really don't see how Skylake makes any sense when a 5820K can be had for very little extra.Really?

Downgraded from a x99 and 5930k....
Never looked back...I don't feel I've been ripped off running this budget setup...in fact I'm enjoying it more tbh...playing Farcry 4 today was no different than on the 800 quid mobo x99 combo...
