That's a resounding, hell no, from me. This launch seems to be even less of a performance increase than the usual miserable increase. Pretty pointless launch to be honest.

Nope. Staying on 4790k for the foreseeable future. Cannonlake might be my next upgrade, maybe??? I'm good for a year or 2 yet

I'm due an upgrade from my 3770k and I've been waiting for ages for Skylake, is it worth the upgrade for me? Already ordered a 980ti just need a mobo and a CPU to go with it..

The CPU will be under water if that makes a difference?!

EDIT: Could I add anther 980ti in SLI and run an M.2 drive all at full speed/bandwidth on a Z170 board?

^SLI will still be limited to 8x/8x even on Z170 as there are still only 16 lanes attached to the CPU.

Nope. Waiting for Zen, would love to go back to AMD again. Besides, not even touched overclocking my 4790k yet, haven't felt the need
