Polygamy.

There is laws already allowing same sex marriage, why not polygamy?
I don't see what one has to do with the other at all.

If more than one people are in love and want to stay in a recognised form of togetherness why should the society dictate otherwise?
I have already posted a reply to this

I said before that countries who allows polygamy have a lower divore rates.
In countries where society sees women completely differently. Usually in societies where women have considerably less social sanding than a man and often are subordinate. Therefore, the rules of the society are so wholly different than to think to translate things directly over and hope for the same results are ludicrous. (I am including the USA in this as the part of their society which practices this is a subset in which I think this is also the case)

Man are animals and by such we have animal-instinct that are sometime suppresed...maybe this shouldnt be?
Are you kidding! That arguement could be used for countless immoral and unacceptable (and probably just as many acceptable) practices.

...and so I leave the thread as I have work early tomorrow :)

And in answer before you were told there's many other factors involved, not least the point that countries that practice polygamy simply don't have divorce.

I dont agree with the answer/response. I can count several countries that allows polygamy and allows divorce.

We did. Your point? Society has developed in an untold amount of ways since then and still polygamy is only practiced by hippies and religious nuts :)

My point is clear cut unless you dont wanna see it. If you see polygamy has something practice by hippies and religious nuts, am quite sure they view homosexuality (allowing it and even recognising the marriage) as an abuse of freedoom, social morals and something practice by infidels. :)
