Popular games you just don't get

Gonna get some stick for this........... Witcher 3

I've tried time and time again to get into it but its just always, meh, somehow, and now it won't even run since the update when I tried it again, yeah, real swell
Witcher 3 is ass. well its an alright game but 2 is a better, tighter experience.
W3 got way too much praise for being open world, but the content generally fell off a cliff after Baron story.

Going to add God of War here. That game is a monotonous disgrace to play, praised only because Christopher Judge knocked it out of the mocap park.

Minecraft and Roblox, are these even games? What's the point of them?

I can't speak about Roblox but Minecraft; it's an open world sandbox survival game where you start with nothing and ultimately aim to kill 2 Bosses, the Wither and the Ender Dragon. Being a sandbox though, how you get there is up to you from speedrunners doing it as fast as possible or people having worlds for years making up lore of their world. And that's not mentioning redstone, the ability to automate things through logic gates or even build mini-games themselves. I think Minecraft, somewhat, gets a meh reaction as I know quite a few peoples who only experience with it is their kids, nephews/nieces etc. playing in creative mode or some of the Bedrock mini games rather than the full vanilla games.

Multiplayer, FPS, Card, Sports, Driving, Battle-Royale, "Simulator" or Moba games.

I'm iffy on open world games too as I try to complete everything that pops up on the map and inevitably burn out and get bored .

Surprised to see so many people saying Elden's Ring... after reading all the positive reviews and feedback it was the next game on my list of things to try...

Someone's already mentioned it, but really don't understand kids' obsession with Minecraft... it seems like absolute trash to me...
