Porsche Owners Thread - If you own one or just like or hate them! :)

What’s the market prediction for the 991.1 GT3's in terms of mark value in the next year or two? As looking on pistonheads they seem to be trading at 20K above list still?

I can't believe my little car will be a year old in March, as it only seems like yesterday I picked it up. Ironically I was offered a new GT4 (Yellow) from a OPC which had been a cancelled order which was due next month but it didn’t have the buckets or clubsport package otherwise it would have jumped on it.

Also I’ve been told that the 991.2 GTS's should be available around next December (Not sure that’s true or not but that from an OPC) but it’s unclear still if that’s a NA or the current turbo engine with more power.

Are you mad on the GT4. You could have put the bucket seats in for a 6 or so k. Or just flipped it

Someone else said the same thing, I personally don't agree with the whole flipping cars. However, when I order a new car I want it in the spec I want as Ill never be happy with it otherwise. I'm a bit fussy when it comes to the spec and things like that.

She's also pretty handy round a track (Racing Driver) :)

An interesting point about leaving it in 7th gear from 30mph. The best of both worlds - like an 'auto' when you want to cruise and then manual for those driving purist moments.

I'd be pretty upset it I had an auto and all it did was select the top/highest gear after 30mph. ;)

Quite surprised you're looking to move on from your GTS already...!

To be honest, I'm very happy with my GTS even more so after I've driven the 911 GTS but that was due to the options (Mainly Power Steering Plus) on the car and it didn't feel enough of a upgrade from mine. If anything I feel mine would be quicker down a country lane but again that's probably due to options on my car.

However, if the right car comes up in GT4 form I'd consider a upgrade but it has to be with the options, so that would have to be the light weight buckets, PCCBs, ClubSport in ether Yellow or Mexico/Rivera Blue etc... but at the same time I'd have to give it some thought as my GTS is completely how I want it with the PCCB's, PTV, PDK, X73, Buckets etc.. with a few nice creature comforts on top for good measure.

My ultimate goal is a 991 GT3 but I think that's going to be the next car after my GTS but this depends on future values.

Im really struggling to sell the 911, I have taken it back from the dealer and dropped the price by £4.5k so I hope it will move soon.

If not I am tempted to just put it in the garage and sell it in April.

I did not think of that but I already paid for the GT4 now.

Its back on AT now so hopefully it will sell soon

Stick it on PH and a few specialist forums.

My 911 sold via the M3 forum within a week or so putting it live. :)

Zero advertising cost and car moved quickly to another enthusiest.

Really, I'm very surprised. I will do that as I am a member of a few other forums.

I've sold all my cars via PH, so was a little surprised to sell via M3 forum.

I never advertise on autotrader any more, way to many idiots, scammers and businesses calling you trying to waste your time.
