Loving the interior, but one thing that I don't understand is how is using the touchscreens when driving any different from using a mobile, and will there be a raft of people being nicked for doing so?

I had an i8 on demo last night as these fall within the price range.

I really liked it actually but my wife said it's not suitable to use for client meetings as its too flash.

She's probably correct, isn't she? to the general public, it does look a bit too much.

Depends on your profession.

I don't think anyone wants to see their builder pull up in a flash sports car, but if you're a lawyer or something i don't think it matter too much. Plus it's a good conversation point and helps start to build a rapport.

I run a digital marketing agency mainly social media.

You get 2 types of customer I suppose. The ones who appreciate others success and the ones who are jealous.

I always love to see people doing well but I totally understand that everyone isnt like this.

Just booked a Porsche Experience Day to drive the Macan S or GTS in December. Excited :D

If you get Gordy, he's a really good guy. I did my Cayman gts experience with him and really enjoyed it. Really showed me what Porsches were all about, couldn't believe how well it could handle at speed. Gave me total confidence in my car, though I'll never hit those speeds on the Queen's highway :D

I'll look out for him :)

I did the 718 Cayman experience back in June and it was fantastic. They really let you hammer the cars.

Built in touch screen isn’t a hand held device so you can’t be done under that law.

That’s said you can still get done for due care and attention but that’s very unlikely to happen if you are just glancing down to change the AC.

Heard that my GTS has been sorted, high pressure fuel pump has been replaced under warranty.
Back from the US and Canada on Saturday and will be collecting it on the way home!

What flavour? 991 C2S? Bet you’re pretty excited to collect it!

just a 991 C2 PDK.

I can’t wait!

it’s due an MOT and service in a couple of months. It’s been serviced at an OPC until now. Should i keep it OPC or take it to the local specialist Tech 9? I know they have a very good Reputation and are much more local to me than the nearest OPC.

You'll lose any extended warranty if you take it to an indy
