Just feel the hype, the doom, the pricing speculation. At the end of the day all that matters is the performance and no one knows about that except probably Matt. Come the end of June is only when we'll really know what it's capable of. Until then expect many 6 month old fake slides as per usual.

Well not long to go now. I'd imagine any new leaks from now will stand a fair chance of being right. Im expecting to see a flurry of new benchmarks in the next 2 weeks.

^^ Leaks stand no more chance of being correct now than before.

This entire thread no need!! Just wait for the product.

+1 after this crazy long wait for AMD to respond to Maxwell 6 weeks more won't kill us. Then we'll have concrete numbers and we can all have an informed discussion on the hardware.

If by "informed discussion" you mean whataboutery, point scoring and trolling then yup i'd agree. :p

To be honest I just want it to be £700 :) and as good as the titan X

I expect it to match the 295 x 2 I don't know why people doubt this. I don't think it will 4k aswell as the 295 x2 but £ for £ i think it will be the best card on the market.

Questions I have is ? How much HBM is there? How rare will this card be? Can AMD keep with the demand?

How are people judging the Titan X as overpriced, because they cant afford it? Is there a cost to make breakdown anywhere?
lol, I think we know it doesn't cost anywhere near what they sell it for. It's probably got a large markup for the fact it's not designed to sell as many as other cards but companies always charge a premium the higher up you go in the performance bracket and then this is Nvidia too. You'd have to be sticking nvidia logo's in your eyes to not see it at that price. Childish remarks like saying people can't afford it is irrelevant, performance to price is a completely different thing.

I personally considered a titan, it's just another product at the end of the day but it's price is still poor due to the premium on that kind of product. It's a luxury product so that is expected but if you can't even acknowledge that..

Its over priced because some choose not to pay that much and assume everyone should agree. End of the day what you pay for your enjoyment is a personal thing and of no importance to anyone else but yourself (except perhaps your partner :p )

Its a constant tagline for those not willing, or able, to pay the prices. "wah its overpriced", without any actual knowledge of he costs involved.

To me it seems "expensive" but I have no idea if its overpriced.

Because we all know that unlike the previous Titans that were that were expensive due to being semi-professional compute cards, the Titan X is really NOT a Titan, but a gaming 80 or 80Ti cards.

Being what it is, it should not have been priced at any more than around £700 at the very most even if it was a 12GB card. But by taking advantage of Titan premium branding from previous Titan product lines, Nvidia got an excuse to jack up the price by another £150-£200.

If people are happy with their purchase of the Titan X at £850-£900, good for them...but if they are trying to argue with others that the cards is justified to be priced at that, they are kidding themselves, and Nvidia is the only winner of this.

I mean the Titan X is about may be around 50% faster than the 780 that was launched 2 years ago which was sold at around £550...so despite 2 years have passed, people still have to spend 50% over the price of the 780 back then in order to get 50% more performance...whatever happened to the natural extra performance increase that comes moving gen and years passing by? The time we spent "bearing with old cards" to skip a gen waiting for new gen cards become "worthless", and extra performance with moving gen got reduced to become something more for company to squeeze for extra profit...

Or you could say roughly 70% faster than GTX 970 yet 3x the price. Surely people can see something doesn't add up and every Titan X owner knows the card laughs at price v performance. So don't assume just because some people are not happy to pay over the odds for performance that we are all peasants.
