After using corsair HG10 and kraken g10 AIO on my 290x from now on I hoping Amd keep using the 295x cooler or something similar.. These water cooling AIO are simply superb..

I hope you're right.

Its a certainty for them to have air coolers, its essentially how aib's will differentiate their cards. With stock coolers amd tend to go for a blower design, whereas aib's seem to go more for multiple fan designs so they have room to design a heat sink assembly that can air cool the card.

The air cooled will be the fury pro, not the Xs.

Id imagine there will be air cooled versions of all the cards at some point.

Its already been mentioned that air cooled versions of the new amd cards are in the works...so seems to me they don't need it to operate. But its an option for people who want better temps than air coolers can provide.

The way I've read it (rumours so far I know) is that the Fury X will only have the AIO version put together by AMD like the 295x2 was.

There was an air cooled 295x2 as well. I'd be very surprised if there was one version of the new range that stuck to liquid cooled only.

Was there? Are you sure that wasn't powercolors devil 13 card or whatever which was their own design and wasn't actually a 295x2 PCB.

It was the devil 13 but essentially the same thing, 2 290x cores on a single card.

It was a bit of a pos though, that being said air cooling 2 hawaii cores was never going to be easy, air cooling a fiji should be much more manageable.

We have talked to several board partners about AMDs upcoming flagship GPU called Fiji, I have been able to see the product, yet for obvious reasons we cannot show a photo of it. I can confirm a thing or so for you guys. The product is as previously stated 4GB with its framebuffer,

Just because it has 4 visible modules doesn't mean it's 4GB.

Last time I'll point this out. Stay ignorant if you want.

Hahahaha, all those big letters and ooooo look :D :D :D

On par with ti and 4gb, runs hot, uses lots of power and most likely have little OC headroom. £400, any higher and this thing is done for.

Ever hear of smoke and mirrors? Just because that's whats they show at a trade show doesn't mean its exactly whats in the product. We really won't know for sure until they officially launch it and the reviews are out.

Settling for the silver medal already?

What are you talking about?

Well if they are struggling to get the performance with the drivers, then thats it, it will be slower than the Ti, as they've been struggling with drivers for about the last 8 months! :p
