At least they have included gently typhoons. Best fan in the market, must run bloody hot for that to be needed though, will rip the cooler off anyway and stitck a water block on most likely lol.

I would laugh/cry if this AIO card requires a 3000rpm+ 120mm fan.

If the picture is legit then I doubt it requires it, it would probably never even hit more than 50% speed at full load. Though it's also possible that this is a prototype and they just put the best fan they could find on it for testing /shrug.

I'm wondering how much of a performance difference the Fury's 8.6TFLOPS will make over Titan X's 7TFLOPs, I have a feeling Nvidia are about to get an extremely large rude wakeup.

Probably not

NVidia have probably known what the performance of the Fiji cards are for quite a while.

This also works the other way round as well.

NVidia have dropped a big clue as to what they think Fiji will perform at in the shape of the 980 Ti which does not have all it's shaders enabled.

89 pages at the moment and mostly pointless, the possible info should be summed up in a couple of posts by somebody who knows about this stuff and the rest deleted.

GTX 980 = 5 TFLOPS
290X = 5.6 TFLOPS

Just saying...

It'll make a bigger difference to compute than gaming.

Its the low fan ap-15 likely a 1850rpm and 28db.

They are different.

The high speed ones like the one shown on the Fury have black blades/hub, different holes on the centre hub and a solid ring connected to all the outer blades to stop them breaking off at high RPM.

I really don't think that fan will appear on the production model (due to cost), it was probably just on the pictured prototype for testing purposes.

Even slowed to almost stalling speed it would hardly be silent (though much better than a 290X reference cooler ofc).

We probably still won't know how it performs though will we? Surely at best they will show it off, tell us it's amazing and give us a release date and possibly a price. Actual performance won't be available until the procut is launched, which is expected on the 24th, right?

Well the last leaked bench seems to be a fake..but funnily the questioned Ti and TX scores are legit

Supposedly fake:

All total garbage

Look at the scores for batman 59 57 55 53 51 is there a pattern forming there lol.

And also a TX only 2fps faster than a 980 and 2 slower than a 980 Ti, they are having a laugh.:D

I have two AP-31s for extreme benching purposes. 5400rpm is no joke.

Just one of those fans is louder than my reasonably loud vacuum cleaner. And sometimes I feel like not leaving one of them plugged and on a table because I feel like it would have enough lift to start flying.

I can't see how anything reaching those speeds would be used. Those fans are in the "actually dangerous" category lol.
