I told you guys two days ago they are shipped out. Now you know :)

Now another hint: amd is completely reworked the drivers..the first sign was the W10 drivers less overhead...but more goodies will come.

Why do people always forget this? It's like they've never bought a GPU before.

Wilful ignorance or wishful thinking - take your pick.

I thought of adding another £30 to my price for the usual "exchange rates" excuse, but that would take it past the price of lower end 980GTX cards. I think it's going to perform the same but be slightly cheaper and have the +4Gb VRAM benefit.

I hope you are right. If they have improved the DX11 drivers to match the W10 drivers then we could have some decent performance gains in older cards too.

It's not Fiji. So, it's not really that great as far as news goes.
And 21st of June? That's not exactly great either.

I think it'd be silly at this point to think the 390X is anything other than an 8GB reworked 290X.

We've still no idea how much difference the reworking has made so hard to be sure either way, though I'd be surprised if it was a huge difference!

The 390X must be more than a rebrand at $450 I mean you can get the 290x for like £220 pretty consistently, who would pay an extra 100 for the same card.

The 8Gb versions are generally around the £300 mark though. Add in a bit of extra oomph and it's a £350 product before you know it.
