You know, if it's true they have redone the drivers completely, I think I would despise them even more for not communicating that.

Ether way hey have lost me as a customer for some time, but knowing this (if true) could Have swayed me to wait a bit more.

Oh well, hope the drivers are great for all of you when this launches.

I am still interested to see what the card has to offer.
 
Ignoring crossfire drivers, if the 390X is closer to the 980 than the 290X in performance, it could prove a very attractive buy with 8 GB VRAM at around £350.
 
Lets pretend that AMD launch and you can buy/pre order on the 16th, what's OCUK's history like with updating the website? I presume as it looks like it will be announced in the evening of the 16th, OCUK will add it (if possible) on the morning of the 17th?

Given the possible scarcity of the Fury, I would like to be first inline (assuming it looks like a good one)

They are a retailer - the cards will appear on the website the very second the NDA is lifted. That's not to say they'll have much/any stock for certain of the SKUs though...

Maybe I'm talking out of my depth in that case. I don't know if retailers are given a separate instruction as to when they can list the cards that might be separate to the time of the announcement. I say this because I can't recall cards ever listing late at night - it's normally 2pm or something.

No just bored skimming the thread and it just seemed an odd thing to say and surprised no one picked up on it tbh. If it wasn't for open standards we probably wouldn't be having this conversation in this medium. ;)
