i dont think it'll be a monster card, that'll be later on when the Lightning comes out ......because this will be a reference card with just enough power to outgun the 980......... the one you'll want will come out two months later !

i'd be careful here because i expect Nvidia will be releasing the Titan soon after, because they'll want to see how good this new card is before they bite back and to really screw up AMD it might just be relatively cheap

interesting times ahead, i wouldn't buy anything till mid summer or you might really regret it........... this'll give you enough time to save about 1000 quid :eek:

On a separate note I am expecting the 380X to be faster than a 980 and priced under £300. If not, it will be disappointing, unless it very cheap.

no i'm deadly serious, i read it this afternoon, either on Hex or Legit reviews, the 390X was finished and tested about a month ago.

this wasn't at 1080p, but the next resolution up, i've no idea what resolution because i forgot

That's 1 up on 1080.

The 390x is roughly 10% quicker than the 980 and will come in £50 less.

I will give you a clue, the difference was about halfway along the hull on the deck (it was something that was totally useless on a battleship and more suited to a distroyer).

No I had it the right way round, there were no Torpedo tubes on the Bismarck.

I Learnt this nearly 50 years ago as I used to do a lot of model building.

the tirpitz also had additional AAA...because it was later on in the war..a great looking ship, she had quite a few camouflage schemes

USS Dakota tried to lure her out for a fight but Tirpitz wouldn't take the bate, the one thing that pc gamers miss is a really good battleship fight simulator, but to make it good they'd need to figure in quite a lot of stuff, armour schemes, gun accuracy, shell penetration etc

yea i'm not happy if it's only 12fps faster.............but the Sapphire and Lightning wont be, they'll be miles quicker.

after all, only a total idiot would buy the 390X reference card, it'll be pants, silly red fan, plastic cover and as hot and noisy as hell. ....arent they always

Warship Mod for SHIII, not exactly purpose Warship gaming, but playing these great ships instead of just watching them sail by was fun.

When i get good enough i might make a little Warship game.

A spin off of world of Tanks is apparently on its way, World of Warships.
