I don't think there is anyway that we will be getting a 390x that matches or beats the Titan, as much as i would love this to happen, it's not. Then the price will show the difference.

I'm still getting one because it should be faster than a 980 and I can't afford the TX :(
that was said about the 290x and it did match and beat the titan, but who apart from the people who have signed nda know.one thing though it is a possibility.(maybe wishful thinking):)

I wasn't around when the 290x first came out, I was still playing with Action Men :D

Maybe, I hope so. As long as it beats the 980/980Ti if they are releasing that, I'm getting one. And I need to get one as it's the reason I'm putting off water cooling! I want a nice crossfire, water cooled system but it's not worth doing with the 290x at the moment.

Nevermind a Titan beater, which assuming it even happened, would be a niche card anyway... the big question is what AMD will have to compete with the 980. Surely it's unthinkable that they wouldn't release a GPU that doesn't better it at a similar price point nearly a year after the 980 was released?? That would be utter suicide on their part!! And with the 980Ti around the corner, it would be 'bye-bye AMD' for good if they don't come up with something special.

Calm down dear. 380 will equal 980 and the 390 (non-Pro) will equal the 980Ti :)
