Possible Test Drive Unlimited 2 information!

play.com's posting and delivery are getting worse. I've used them for years but unless they are massively cheaper I shall not do so, for games, again. Part of the problem stems from being Jersey based so things take longer to get to mainland UK. I'm glad I cancelled my preorder with them despite losing the casino for free.

simplygames on the other hand must have a mainland based warehouse as I received my copy of TDU2 the day after they posted it.

Its a bit off a poor effort this from the developer/publisher releasing an online based game that is broken on the release day. Its not rocket science if your releasing this type of game which is a sequel with 5 years development you think they would be able to judge the server capacity required.... Useless...
 
These server issues are starting to get on my nerves now. Trying to do some challenges and keep getting server not being available.

The worse thing is those of us who got it early would have gotten away with it if it hadn't been for you pesky kids who bought the game on release day
 
Is it just my personal taste or are both radio stations on this game absolute turd? The "rock" radio seems to be having a bit of an identity crisis too, oh and the adverts are probably the most unfunny things I've ever heard, it's like a poor man version of the hilarious radio that we get in the GTA games. :p

On the subject of sound, does it sound like all the characters and the spoken stuff on the radio is being shouted? Mine sounds like the voices are being overdriven a bit, like they're shouting or something.

Exactly, the game was perfect until all these newbies flooded the servers!:D
 
I've been using voice comms in games for 10+ years and cannot for the life of me work out why the in game voice comms, and most likely PS3/XBox voice comms, are such poor quality.

10 years ago when I was running a TFC clan we used in game voice comms and they were better than this effort.
 
How realistic is the digital Ibiza in this game? Has it got every single road recreated? Have to say the scenery is beautiful - I'd love to go to one of the secluded beaches. ;)

I came joint 1st on B4 High but instead of giving me the gold medal it gave me silver, then Ryan called me for a head to head which I won, along with his crappy VW which I already had anyway. :(

So I have to do B4 High again to get the gold, though for some strange reason it keeps telling me it's unavailable whenever I try and click on an event from it.
 
I don't think you have to do B4 High again to carry on. My A license racing school has appeared on the map now. My downfall in B4 was some mountain pass trial. It was pitch black and I kept crashing and came last with 0 points otherwise I would have had the bugger.

I just left the B4 High as a silver and then carried on, currently doing the A6 championship in the TT which is awesome. :D

Unfortunately I have to pop out and do some real life driving now. Boo! :(
 
Question guys. As I cant find info. Got online problems. Loop etc.

If I play offline with no Ethernet. What I complete and buy like cars. Races etc. Are they all available for online play. Can't remember how this game works?
