Because my mobo doesnt have an AGP lock so at 8 X 77 = 616mhz instead of 8 x 66 = 528mhz. Lowering the AGP to 4x means im running @ 4 x 77 = 308mhz which is a lot more stable.
 
is this ok

3DMark Score 5791 3DMarks
CPU Score 643.0 CPUMarks

never done a benchmark before is this reasonable result
system is p4 3.0 ic7 mobo herc 9800 pro 1gig dual ram
not the full version of 3d mark
 
My 3dmark03 score is about 5.1k

Spec,

p4 2.4ghz
Herc 9800pro
1gig pc2700 (***** ram)
qdi 2d/533 board.
(all stock)

Ive set the sliders to performance. No aa, af set to 4x (in 3dmark03).

This score ok?
Also installed Star Wars KotOR just too see how it ran, and it didnt run all that great.

Any ideas?

Yeah ditch the mobo, upgrade the gpu.

It will probably add a thousand or so but it wont be much before its CPU bottlenecked.
