by next month we'll probably need 12,000+ scores just to get in the 2k3 top 10 i'd imagine. :)

i was hoping to get one last score in before the new cards come out, but my chiller started leaking before I got to try it on my XT... :(
 
im only getting around 15000 for my 3dmark2001 score, surely this is way too low for my specs:

p4 3ghz
sapphire radeon 9800 pro
2x 256 PC2100 DDR

yea i know i have really crap memory, thats because the new memory i bought didnt work, so im using the memory sticks i had in my old pc :o. but will new memory push my score up by much?
anyone wanna figure out why my score is so low?

put D3D AF and AA on app pref and set everything else max performance in the D3D tab in the ATI control panel
 
well today is a landmark day our first x800 Pro benchmark score on the table and as expected beating the pants of all our systems. So i hope those ordering both the new ATI and Nvidia cards will start to enter their results into the table.
 
I get 6026 in 2003 and just hit 20k in 2001.
AMD64 3200 / 3200 OCZ plat / Audigy 2 zs / 9800 pro Shuttle SN85G4.. all at stock though :( Im scared to OC yet :p

WTF! That's not bad for my kit!!!
I could splash out on an athlon 64 if i wanted but i think it's overkill at the mo', and a bit daft with the new amd socket+pci express mobo's coming. Just wait till later this year. I'll be top of the futuremark league table with my rig i'm planning. Grrrrrrr......rrrrrrrr.......Woof!
