So i just finished my new rig. I just got 12309 in 3dmark03

Spec

Asus K8VSE deluxe
A64 3400+ (CH)
1024 DDR400
PC X800XT
Adigy 2 zs

All at stock.

I managed to get 200 more points just restarting my machine and running off a fresh boot.

benchmark fever just hit me

oc'd the card to 400 core and 1200 ram. Upped the fsb a little to 217, gonna push it a little more soon.

03 improved result = 11611 up from 9392.

440 core 1.18Ghz ram stable with no artifacts -- 445/1.2Ghz starts artifacting with the stock cooling which I might change later down the line if the fans start whining or just annoy me too much with noise. 450/1.2Ghz I get the odd bit of freezing and it eventually locks up.

That's enough now. No more benchmarking till I get a new cpu/mobo/ram much later down the line after finally breaking 12K, with 12,211 3d'03marks which I'm chuffed with. Really glad that I passed on the Ultra and opted for this instead looking back on it all now!

I think it will manage 450/1.2Ghz with better cooling..
