It possibly was the FX53 helping me along, but I've sold it now and got a 3.2EE to play with - I should get better scores still since it has the 2mb cache ;) I imagine I can run stable @ 4.2ghz or thereabouts - should provide some uber bandwidth (3500 BH5 @ 2,2,2,5)

(n00b question alert, be gentle) also when i boot up my pc, i can hear my GPU fan running at full speed, when windows boots up it slows down, is this right or something draining the power?

Hi there

Gonna pull my modded 9800 Pro out to see what I can achieve on my system. It's been a long time since I did some aggressive benching so what are the fastest ATI drivers for 3D Mark these days and what tweaks do people use etc. ?

Would like to break 25k with my 9800 Pro!! :D
 
I was looking forward to breaking 15k 2k3, sorted my chiller (a cheap freezer I got from a high-street electrical store), and got the waterblock/pipes insulated:

(sensor only goes down to -40c, so I'm guessing the block is between -45 & -50c, liquid is at -18c, tho will do down to -30c if I leave the freezer on long enough). The block is a Swifty MCW50-t w/ 172W pelt @ 13v.

Unfortunately I was greeted with this screen when I turned on the rig for a last few benchmarks before I connected it up to the chiller (it was still on air).

I'm guessing it's muffed beyond repair, perhaps static killed it while I was measuring it (to fit neoprene etc). There doesn't seem to be any damage anywhere... :(

will probably get a standard X800XT PE and just use air, I don't have the money to go around breaking these things again. lol
 
ok tables have been updated again I am still working on getting the links table sorted. But I have noticed a lot of people either providing incorrect/ dead links or just screenies. Although it is nice to get screenies of your achievements it means you don't get onto the table.

well it is now offical both tables have over 100 hundred results so I may post the top 100 for each table later :)

and u need to put mine down as modded to xt as u dont have it ,anyway nice table thanks for spending the time doing it's nice to see how everybody does without having to look through loads of posts
