While i was getting the suitcasses from the loft (yes its holiday time) i had a quick look at my Amiga 500. A while ago i posted if it was possible to overclock an Amiga. The replys were very nostalgic.
 
Erm, total newb here !!

Had my pc custom built by brother in law, all i know is that it's got an XFX Geforce 6800 ultra 256Mb in it ;) .

3D mark score on 2001 (only one i've got !!)

23563 ?!?! any good?.

max temp seems to be around 60, that's when running Doom3 (so far).

Card isn't overclocked (that i'm aware of), although I think my card has already been boosted above stock level what with it being an XFX, as I have been led to believe that some are already overclocked when you purchase them.

Hope to post again soon with some more insane ramblings !!

Ps: it's my first post so please don't ave a go if i've done/said owt wrong !! :(

Your temps will be higher when running D3 - you need to download rivatuner and run it in the background, that way you can see temps , as they fall off pretty sharply so that if you check temps as soon as you exit the game, its back down near idle temp :)

You can also then sneak some more out your card too :P

492/1310 on water using the Innovatek block. BFG Ultra flashed to Ultra Extreme bios. Using 61.77 drivers.

Using Swiftech MCW50-T (TEC/Water) - Idle is 10C

Ithink its your A64 and mem speed that are taking you above 15k.

Do you have a link to the Extreme BIOS ??
