Sadly it might well be up for sale.

It has WP suspension front & rear, race fairing, Rearsets, Blackbird clipons, stock dash, HRC Loom/ECU, Ray stringer tuned engine and powdercoated frame and wheels!! Rebuilt from bare frame hence new bearings!

All depends on my elbow's usage as to whether I sell or not......:(

Quill exhaust arrived :)

Surprised at how high the build quality seems. Sounds lovely too - not too over the top below 4k, but like a proper race pipe above :)

Looks great! I was amazed by the build quality aswell, thats why i went for one too. Just wish they would get it sent out to me!

You seem to know a lot about these bikes Draeger :D .

Yeah, I know enough to get by. :D

The can in the image you posted is definately an Aprilia Ti race can. Titanium. Very loud as you have already noticed.

Quite a nice can though, works very well and they along with the Aprilia shotguns are still surprisingly sought after on the used market. They came with the Mille "R" when new as far as I can recall and a chip also came with them so chances are the bike will have been chipped already.

Anyway, I digress. It's Saturday, I assume you have been out playing on it since this morning.

Had fun?. :D

A 400 two stroke Supermoto will eat you alive

my girlfriends brother has one, and he takes it up the local hill climb all the time racing it, and its awesome. i havent had a go on it yet though.. maybe i should before i go out and buy one.. i did have a cagiva mito, and that was pretty quick for a 125

yes, have a go off road with one the power differance is completly different, if your not prepared or experiance enough itll have u on your arse faster than you can say gravel rash

Is that a bolt on exhaust? Or did you fit the link pipe etc yourself?

Had a Quill Tri-Oval on my bandit, and loved it, thought it sounded fantastic, so would like to get another, but I'd like to get a bolt on if they do it lol.

Yeah it's a bolt on T3.

Been out on the Squires egg run to a childrens hospice this morning. Was a good turnout :) Pipe sounds really nice and hasn't messed the fueling up which is a bonus

Thanks for the advice mate. I'll take it on board. I love two strokes, much more fun to ride than four strokes, shame they are slowly dying out :( i'd love a gp bike.

How about a retro early 90s two stroke such as:
nsr250 or rgv 250 or maybe rs 250 then lots of spares to bring them up to near 600 cc power
i KNOW WHAT YOU MEAN HAVING TO RIDE THEM AT THE EDGE TO KEEP THEM IN THEIR POWERBAND UNLIKE LAZY 4 STOKES

Good plan, but arent those bikes like gold dust to find in good nick? Id love an rs250 thinkin about it. too right, it takes a good rider to ride a two stroke properly ;) heh. I'll look into something like a 250 maybe its a more sensible choice. Cheers mate

The rgv and rs 250 are relativly abundant tbh, ebay and autotrader have a few most of the time. try
http://www.rgv250.co.uk/
they have lots of info on both rgv and rs, and yes they make you a true biker nothing like kicking all the sunday boys on thier 600 on a 250 twostroke
edit also if you get a rgv or nsr with a shagged body work u could buy a bodykit like this

Gave mine a good clean the other week, although she's a bit dirty now. Here's my trusty blade, 33000 miles and still going strong. It has been by far the best bike I've ever had. I travel on it daily to work, as well as the odd trip across the channel.
