I know we are talking silly here, but how would a hardtail rear end deal with such power? I can imagine it skipping about all over the place :p Oh, and me in a hedge thinkinghow fun it was before i died :D

lol, I think you'd open throttle and bike would head off and leave you sitting in road :D

that ZX6 looks mean as..

It would be extremely hard to get the power down if at all, and you would need a really steady hand to even think about any cornering on power haha :p plus it would want to flip you off at every given time! Though saying that if you give it a go I am up for being test dummy :D

lol, I might have to hold you to that. Last time i rode a bike was the monkey when i was about 12? I crashed into a tree with the front wheel in the air..

I figure im not yet ready for Hyabusa power :P

MOT Time :p or quiet track day lol?

Yea they are that obvious in the quills they make them quite big so theres only about 0.7mm space between that and the can outlet lol, saying that mine does not really baffle much :p

But of course, baffles are only fitted for Mille's annual torture test, I mean MoT. :D

Understand about the Quill baffles now, quite hard to spot from the pics. The baffles for my Renegades are quite large but they don't seem to make them that much quieter. They do however, have the all important BS Stamp on them. ;)

Mine has the BS Stamp on the can but I do keep my bafffle under the seat just incase :p
I have a spare can I put on for MOT as my quill if they are picky might fail even with baffle in, but have found a new Tester now so I think the quill will be fine :p

Actually, I hadn't even given that a thought, keeping the baffles under the seat. My local MoT spanner monkey I have been using for years through many a different bike. He is usually quite strict but he knows Aprilia's inside out so I don't mind. This year though I decided to ask him if it would be ok for me to leave the Renegades on but fit baffles. He really wasn't keen. So I said "Ok, let me fit them and bring it in for you to MoT and if you fire it up and you are not happy, then fair enough - I'll stick the standard dustbin can back on and bring it back".

The Renegade cans themselves have no markings at all on them, no "Not for road use", nothing. So I think the thing that swung it for him was the BS stamps. Was quite chuffed as they are not that much of a hassle to remove/refit but they are a complete bitch to get both the cans to line up perfectly using the supplied bolts and spacers that go through the undertray. ;)

Actually there is no need for BS Stamps on cans anymore, aslong as they dont say 'not for road use' or 'Race use only' then its up to the Testers discression on how loud they are :)

Yeah, I know. I think it was just a nice bit of "reassurance" for him though.

I did mention to him about the fact that BS Stamps were now no longer needed and it was down the MoT testers discretion.

But his ears were bleeding at the time and he couldn't hear me. :D

LOL!!!

Nah, I think his "per hour" labour charges more than cover that. As i said, he is good but that doesn't always mean inexpensive. :D
