Do any of these new boards have 2 ide connectors. The 965 chipset doesnt support ide at all as standard, boards have to add other chips to support it

That mobo will not work with Conroe AFAIK. :)

The sound card you have is a waste of money.
The PSU is pap,get a seasonic or enermax
And as said that mobo does not support conroe.

Get the Asus P5W DH Deluxe WiFi instead ;)
Oh and a nice big drive for storage.

7950 is not my forte but I think you can use one of them on the current conroe boards (no SLI conroe boards available yet).

Ok Motherboard will have to be changed to something that fulfills both the Conroe and 7950 requirements. I already have over 500 GB for storage that I can use. Raptor is for OS only.

Why did you buy the pc2-5300 instead of the pc2-6400 stuff? PC2-6400 will OC more and only £15 more.
