Yep you can actually understand what everything does, and dead easy to get to stuff.
YEP 100% this is what drives me mad bet it takes seconds to change a bulb... the hassle you havce one some cars now to do the simplest of things... changing sparks or coils... bulbs can turn into hours of arsing about... some cars you have to take the bumper off to get to bulbs... what planet are we living on when you have to do that!

What I like about the E30.

Its from that crossover era where things were very simple, but just starting to get more complicated.

But fortunately even the "complicated" stuff on the E30 like fuel injection etc is very primitive.

Move forward a couple of generations to the E46, and its all rocket science and weird brain surgery wizardry and you need to be a contortionist to do anything.

I really want to get an even older car... I almost bought a Standard 10 recently!

Some nice older cars above. I'm here to screw that up... :p

New Range Rover i had for a few nights to try some software out, really special car to drive, 48V active roll system so in Dynamic mode the roll of the car is really impressive.
P400 so the straight 6 petrol in this was so much better than the detuned P300 in the larger heavier Defender 130. Powered doors to open and close too so the perfect Johnny cab

Nothing special but I guess the car has a special connection to someone and is most likely more rare than most Ferrari's.

Plate on it was worth more than the car. Ford Focus SVT so a USDM car. Not sure why you would import one considering the ST170 existed but I would hazard a guess it has lived on an American base for most of its life. M.O.T's go back to 2007 so could have quite easily been brought in brand new.

Could even be the only Focus SVT in the country!

Phone is mounted and voice command before anyone pipes up :p.

What are we looking at in this photo? Bond's stealth car? :D

Unfortunately have no pics, don't think I would have gotten away with using my phone whilst on the M4.

Gorgeous NA1 Honda NSX in red, bit of a fruity exhausted, sounded naughty. (off to AT to dream about owning one)

Seemed much smaller that I'd expect.

First WOW! car I ever saw. Must've been about 10 years old, downtown Joburg in its hayday, full of life and city bankers and whatnot. Was just my mom and I, can't for the life of me remember what we were there for, but I very vividly remember walking past this Viper parked on the side of the road and being absolutely amazed by it. We did whatever we did, think my mom popped in to the office or something, and when we came back the owner came to the car and started it up. The side pipes blew all the leaves away that were piled against the pavement as the engine roared in to life. I still to this day couldn't tell you why we were there, but I can tell you exactly what that Viper looked like. Red, roofless, those three spoke wheels, it was just absolutely mega.

Viper GTS? Panel gaps you could fly a 747 through, but I guess for an old coachbuilt type car that's to be expected plus they've likely all been crashed by now. Seemed much smaller that I'd expect.

Probably not many of them around, mainly due to the cost of filing them. I always admired them as a kid, I wanted one then when I grew up saw sense and got something that didn't cost an arm, a leg and a kidney to run  .
