That's just the standard for them. You take new pads in and they will say dangerously low. It's dry though, racing slicks are best for that weather . On a tyre related note, my Mrs had her fiesta mot'd yesterday (at kwok fit). Advised rears might need changing. Checked this morning and they're between 4 and 5mm. They either want the business or measured onto of the wear markers.
could have been stolen and thats why the tyre is like that.
If not, then yeah, probably insurance is void, its not road worthy
Probably swapped them round with the backs to "even" the wear out.And especially the fronts... Like that?
Stolen, used to do burnouts and crashed.
You're gonna need to explain how burnouts in an RWD car can result in front tyres looking like that.
I noticed it was a BMW and changed that
They should have definitely invested in one of these...So many people buy a car and only change tyres (and brakes) when it fails an MOT :/
Bms usually run a staggered setupProbably swapped them round with the backs to "even" the wear out.
What would being stolen have anything to do with the tyres like that?
Because if a car is stolen its usually a careful lady driving it, right?
Aren't one series fwd these days (or 4wd as an option for all models).
