I was behind this brand new FFRR yesterday and the left rear light unit was clearly brighter than the right rear - both tail light & brakes. How is this acceptable on ANY new car, let alone something costing at least £100,000?!

While attempting to make the world's first reliable Range Rover is temping. I don't have a crane to do an engine swap, or a few miles of wire :D

Don't forget the fiber optics they use for no good reason, just to make things more challenging:p
 
Why are they so unreliable? If companies like dacia can build a cheap car that has probably 80% of the same functions that work fine, how does a car costing 4 or 5 times as much have so many problems?

That lamp will need to go back to the supplier and replacement. Unfortunately supplier parts aren’t 100% perfect. Add more parts to that mix and statistics means you will have more problems. Shame

There is only a couple of reasons really. Cheap parts or poor QC, or both.

Aren't they OLED or something? I'm sure I read something about JLR using OLED on their top end models, or did I imagine it?
