Post Your Daily Encounter Pics Here

Borrowed this from a colleague for my daughters school leaving prom - her and 4 friends so went for a 7 seater dipped in black Defender as requested by the boss! D300 X model.

Utter mission to collect and then wash on the same day whilst avoid water spots, it was like glass after.. then pollen started settling on it

Not so much an encounter but spent yesterday knocking about in this, which belongs to my best mate.

The performance is... raw. The noise is... loud. The finish is... like a boat.
The paint is actually really nicely applied, but the rest of the finish reminds me of a 20 year old speedboat :D

The seat side bolsters come off if you use them to lever yourself out of the seats (which you pretty much have to do)
I'm almost certain it's trimmed with purple house carpet.

It's great :D

The first gift it gave him was a 10k estimate for an engine rebuild, I think he fitted a used Sagaris engine in the end.

Everyone looks. Every. Single. Person.
It's also completely impossible to drive discreetly.
Hard to quote for a rebuild on them as the last batch had whatever engine they lying around iirc lol. The family seem so nice, they are on Harry's garage every now and then. Bonkers bloke.

Crazy colour. I bet it costs a fair bit to run, but they are great.

Saw this little beauty the other day, a Alpha Romeo 2000 GT or GTV. Absolutely mint, what a gorgeous little car. It was little as well, as in I doubt if I would have gotten low enough to get into it. I had just come out of Pet's at Home when the owner started her up and drove off. What a sound!!

I remember a neighbour on my estate had one of these when I was a kid, totally loved it, always rode my bike round to see it
