Appledore is a safer place tonight
The Bandit is a couple of posts above.

Said same thing to the guy with a pristine E46 328i at the local car show last weekend, how on earth have BMW gone so wrong and making uglier and uglier cars with every new car launch?

The front of it is horrific.

By being uglier than the other electric stuff? :p

As with most of the BMW's launched in the last 20 years - the looks take a while for people to appreciate them :)
I much prefer the front look of my iX than these two other EV's :)

Also, the UK is a very small market for BMW, so designs are set for other regions, which appears to upset BMW traditionalists (Boomers) :p

Is it an actual grill or just decoration? Think I mentioned this before here, but it just looks like a toy car with a sticker for a grill stuck on.

It doesn’t serve a cooling purpose but houses the smart sensors for ‘automated’ driving.
It also contains heating elements to melt ice to ensure these sensors don’t get blocked.

It’s also self healing, so stone chips go away :)

You were in the general parking I hope. ;) :p

That Lotus Carlton! I have hearts for eyes <3

Why does almost every bloody car have black or nearly black wheels? Goodness me.

Yeah I just pulled up outside to have a look, after all- it’s just my “daily”, shortly after an F Type managed to clip the edge of a wall and take out his tyre.

Lent a collegue my F Type else would have took that down as pretty much one of the quickest cars there. The IPACE was only in the top 30% and then I could have took my Insight…

Ultimately none of them would have any appeal to you as they are all working functional cars.

Pull the other one, there's no way you have two JLR motors which are both fully functonal. :p

The Insight I believe whole heartedly. :D

This is quite possibly the best burn I've seen on here in months :D

Bit unimaginative no? I'm sure he could spice it up a little more. :p

Anyway, does a rod knock really mean "not fully functional"? It functions for now!

Pulling them straight from the factory probably helps. Hasn't had enough time to blow up yet :D

Its always fun looking at older Land/Range Rovers on auto trader etc. About the first 2 pages are non runners with knackered engines or gearboxes
