Saw a white GT-R driven in anger on my way home (retard traffic control on a main route at the moment). Looks like he'd turned round and was in a hurry on the alternate route I was using. Amazing how quickly they shift from low sleep with little drama. F14 GTR is the plate, seen it a few times. Dunno why anyone would park one of those in this town though, everything else is clapped out or a work vehicle.

Shame about the poor quality of the iPhone pic - but I was really surprised to see an LP650-4 Roadster last night. One of only 50 in the world:

The car was on Oman plates - must have been an amazing driving experience in it if he took the coast road to Dubai.

All four wheels on this car had tie wraps fitted.

Yes it is, the steel wheel is shaped like the alloy. Hence the area inside the wheel is black.

No, they're alloy wheels, look:

They're not alloys. You can clearly see a wheel weight behind the plastic hubcap.
Look at the hole for the valve stem, they're steelies.

Most, if not all, new cars with hubcaps have them tied onto the wheels.

Ah, they're the Vauxhall Structure steel wheels, not seen these before. Makes sense having the tie wraps now.

Saw a 59 plate 550i, the GT badge was as humongous the car itself. Have to say it did look weird.

bloke at work as a toyoa prius (which we wont stop ribbing him about) and they have the same 5 spoke steelies.
