Wow. What a coincidence. The owner of that car lives near me, regularly parks around Chiswick High Road. The registration plate is in reference to the postal code.

Not sure i like the facelift. It looks fresher but i think i prefer the pre-facelift R Design.
They are hideously expensive for what they are though.
I mean you can get a Golf for the same price ;)

I prefer the pre-facelift too. Got a soft spot for those. :o

Don't have actual pics because I, well, forgot to take any, but today I drove to our Headquarters in Uxbridge in a van like this:

Got a taxi to the audio place in NW10 and picked one of these up to drive home, complete with newly upgraded sound system (if you've seen our truck around, its EVEN louder now lol):

Got chrome y0

[Picture of a 407 with chrome bits on it because image quoting has been banned for some reason]

That belongs to a really old chap who bought it new and then did all that to it. He can be found driving around The Hoe during the Summer.

Very, very strange. He's about 70.

Could be a mid life crisis. :D

This guy? :p He parked outside my house and dropped off the old lady. Bizarre thing to do to your car at that age :/

not really an encounter as such.. but last night i went down my friends shed. and he is currently doing a project involving an engine transplant between two hondas (i think the engine is a 2.0ltr from a civic type-R) and put the engine in the honda you see there which i think is the standard eg with a 1.3 litre engine. i went out in it last night too, the thing was still spinning in third gear. here are some pictures. (sorry, i didnt want to make a new thread so thought this would be a good place to put it!)

on this last one, it has no interior because he is waiting for the gearshift changer so it converts it back to a normal placed gear shifter rather than the higher up shifter on one of those newer civics,m currently its only makeshift. still drivable like this though.

I love k20 eg civic projects :D Silly, silly cars, especially as if that was the 1.3 version, it would have weighed barely 925kg at standard anway.

I miss my old civic :(

Spotted Friday evening in the car park underneath Tesco Extra on Huddersfield Rd in Oldham. (Hence the awful glare of the car park lighting)

Matt paint finish, looked bloody awful imo - look at the Black car parked next to it for comparison.

My phone camera is dire, yes, I know....
