Caporegime
Saw a matt black BMW 130i hatchback. Seemed a bit odd.
Personally, I'd rather have a DB2.
Or an SLR Maclaren.
Or a Diablo.
Better yet, a V12 Jag E-Type.
But meh, seems I'm not allowed an opinion

Which Ferrari was it?
a DB2 ??
Don't be daft. Given the vast resources needed to afford and run a Ferrari 599, surely you'd be looking at the much prettier and much more modern DB6 ?
And A Diablo ? C'mon now seriously. The 599 is better than the diablo in just about every way. Remember that the majority of Diablos were made before VAG ownership. The interior on the early ones is absolutely shocking. Observe:

Clearly, none of the cars you've listed are actually "better" cars. There are just ones you'd prefer because you've got some kind of issue with ferrari owners.

Alternatively I've listed them because I would prefer to own them.
Which was the whole point of the post...
Did I claim I drove a Ferrari?
I made the statement I would rather drive a car I feel a part of - rather than one that has pretty much everything altered or controlled by computers.
No you didn't
You said a ferrari 599 was a crap choice because "there are so many better cars"
clearly they aren't. Just inferior cars you'd rather own because of your own silly issues.
and i suppose you know a 599 is boring to drive and uninvolving from personal experience do you ?

I do apologise for having contrasting opinons to you all, forgive me and I'll try and follow you like a sheep in order to meet your standards...
No need to try - and fail - to demolish mine because you don';t like it.
However, I have read several articles and reviews and have formed my opinions from them.
Laughing quite a bit at this, amazing how much you mature beyond the age of 18. We were all like Cookeh at that age, you included mike
EDIT: ZG002, I know full well that the SLR is far from devoid of driving aids, it was just a car I would rather own at the £200k price point.
Your argument comes across like the spotty 16 year old nerd saying he wouldnt "do" megal fox because "her stomach isn't flat enough" or some other stupid and pointless reason.

Your arguments are all over the place Cookeh, You lash out at the 599 for having driver aids, Yet The SLR is in your list with driver aids. You just prefer the other cars.
In no way does that mean the guy able to spend £200k on a car has not won at life! Which was the original point.
How do you know ?
I'd give my left testicle to be able to drive either for longer than a few hours, let alone own one.

You said there were so many better cars out there. You haven't listed any, only cars you'd prefer to own. Is rather own a GT3RS over a 599 but is never say it was better.
