At my old house an older couple used to own one of the 3 wheel cars with the double doors at the back - not sure the make/model, they lived 2 doors down from the pub - probably don't need to explain the rest :s

Seriously? I remember when you had to pay people to take them away. Scrappers didn't want them because fibreglass body and there was no money in the engines or running gear.

Less than 150 left now and an iconic car. Love or hate them. Hell Austin metros and even Austin Allegros are turning up at classic car shows now.

Reliant Robin fans have the last laugh as the three-wheelers finally gain respect

The British company's glass-fibre cars became a joke because of that 'missing' front wheel, although it was highly successful in its heyday
