You left a nice gap to the petrol station then closed it right when he was indicating on approach to go in there.

He drove about 3 yards forwards until he realised the idiot was turning and still left enough space for an artic to get around

I agree, bad timing and unlucky for him but inexcusable behaviour. Our lights had gone green and everyone, including me, was setting off. I didn’t see his indication until he was turning right in front of me.

Why were you shouting "go on then!"? I imagine there may have been some gesturing too?

why not just hold back, let him through and there's no need for him to get weirdly triggered. You'd only have been sat the other side of the entrance, so no rush

I did hold back, albeit not through choice. You can see I was forced to stop when he started turning right.

I did gesture with my hands for him to complete the manoeuvre as I saying “Go” as I couldn’t move and he was stationary blocking the road purposefully. There was no rude gesturing etc from me.

Good necro though, wasn't aware of this thread before.

Had a dashcam on my BMW that absolutely saved my bacon from a police prosecution, then despite that I didn't bother installing it on my two subsequent cars and have been lucky really.

That dashcam was 8 years old so I just got a Viofo A139 Pro for my GV70.

IMO you should report all "Anti social" behaviour like this as well as extremely aggressive driving. Not that anything will happen individually, but you never know what the collective evidence will show on their end. For instance, it could be a knob head driving like a knob head on cloned plates. Enough reports like this may narrow down operating area or location of the car for the police.
