Post your DSR and VSR sreenshots here

Tried to take some more tonight but now DSR flat out isn't working for me at all, the resolutions show up, it lets you apply them, but its still native resolution once applied, nothing changes.

Just got everything setup, And 4K DSR seriously impressed me. I ran L4D2 and Chivalry and the way it cleaned up the character models is insane. Not to mention im actually running 3840x2160p at 120hz/240hz ULMB on my Eizo.

Im spoiled... I cannot go back i just tried Chivalry and it works at 1080p/120 but 4K/60 wont it keeps reverting back to 60fps. L4D2 is also really harsh i fall just under 90fps so i need to pullabout 40% extra performance from somewhere. Time to get clocking the 980!!

Forgive me, couldn't trawl through 11 pages of **** :p

Did you guys figure out how to actually show the results of the down-sampling the cards are doing, or are you all simulating it with Gimp/PS/whatever?

AFAIK all the ones posted in here are simulated with PS, etc.

After seeing these, I'm convinced to move to 4K as soon as pos. 1080P looks garbage, 1440P is nice but 4K / 8K is where it's at, the image quality is so much cleaner / sharper.

I need a 4K monitor in my life. Dell IPS 4K here I come !!

It doesn't show 1080p displays to be garbage. It clearly shows that we're not getting the best out of our 1080p screens unless we down-sample. It actually shows that rendering internally at 1080p is garbage :p

Presumably the same would still hold true with a 4k screen vs 4k with down-sampling (although maybe less pronounced).

Indeed you'd get similar though a bit less pronounced results due to the already high resolution if you were to theoretically do say 8K DSR to a 4K screen.

BF4 4K 120 is coming up on my list to try after Draenor later. I am going to attempt it on low to see what it looks like with 4xMSAA, Maybe 4xMLAA if that works too. The grass always bugged me before on 1080p.

Probably going to be drool worthy even on low. Will see if i can take a screenshot too.

So i had about 5 hours now to play around and test my games list. And i WILL NOT/CAN NOT be going back! :(

I ran BF4 with 4xMSAA 1080p 120hz and it was really jagged. So i swapped to 4K and suddenly everything looked like it should. Now with everything on low apart from Textures/Filtering im getting around 90-100. L4D2 4K/120 max 100fps and Draenor is now running at 4K 120 also and im pulling 120fps with Shadows and SSAO off.

I would actually say this cannot be beaten at the minute, For £800 in the sales you could get yourself 970 SLI (£500) and the FG2421 for £300.

I can see a lot of seams and aliasing there...

Gave VSR a go last night on AC Revelations (catching up over xmas) and it definitely seems to be doing the trick, even with no AA. Disappointing that I can't have 120hz+ though.
