• Competitor rules

Please remember that any mention of competitors, hinting at competitors or offering to provide details of competitors will result in an account suspension. The full rules can be found under the 'Terms and Rules' link in the bottom right corner of your screen. Just don't mention competitors in any way, shape or form and you'll be OK.

Post your DSR and VSR sreenshots here

Much better like I have been saying, have the image flick over each other shows the effect much easier to see.

Scrolling in a thread to see and then Scrolling back up again isn't going to cut it.

Indeed and making sure that you have justified each picture to the same place in the tabs so that when you flick tabs the image does not move.

Tried brotherhood one last time, it really doesn't take to DSR well.
If and when i replay that, it will be at native 2560. Gotta download some games and see which ones like a bit of downsampling.

OK, I'm going to help you guys out, since you're all hopeless. Links to the screenshot comparison site:

Alien Isolation
AssCreed: Brotherhood
Battlefield 4
Crysis 3
Dirt 3
Hitman Absolution
The Vanishing of Ethan Carter

Edit: I will keep adding them for the next couple of hours, if you want to post some more.

That helps immensely, :)

Unfortunately it also show just how difficult it is to even try to capture this sort of comparison, because there is not a single pair of those images that are actually the same image but at different resolutions and as we all know if the image is different it is rendered differently, whether it be lighting, shadows, dust or even NPC's it makes it nearly impossible to get accurate comparisons.
It is probably as good as we can get now days.
Unless someone wants to run the Crysis benchmarking tool from this thread.

And use that odd save screenshot for each frame feature.
Run it at both resolutions, pick a frame, then we could at least have two identical frames to look at :D:p:D

My first chance to have a look at these properly and spot on. I can see all the improvements with real ease. Great stuff Mr Krugga :)

Only just noticed that setting since you mentioned it... I had it unchecked.
Oh well, they'll do for now I guess.

They're good enough to give a good idea of what to expect.

Yeah its a very good setting to use if you take a lot screenshots.. Steam will save its normal lower image and another uncompressed shot were you pick your own dir folder.

Borderlands 1

Has I expected this game I knew would show a massive difference. Because of its cartoon look, it shows Anti-analysing very bad

Edit
They is a tiny decrease in AA from the Resize vs the Original...

The original Crysis Dx10 Very High 8aa.

Ignore the 1920 framerate as there is a bug when using that res on my Hdtv that makes the game run at 24hz in DX10 mode hence the 24fps framerate.

1920x1080:

3200x1800:

Bit of both tbh...
Decided to finally start playing FC4...Unplayable with a single card maximum settings, so playing on medium for barley playable 1440p. Not on the latest Drivers mind.

Will let you decide which screen is which.
