Driveway is looking a lot better for it on the right side, what about the left?

So that side will be cut down to 7ft as the neighbours have kept the other side nice and tidy. We have cut some of the end off as it was over the path and grown up covering the lamppost. It also means we can see better pulling off the drive.

We’ve basically bought what looks like the worst house on the close but the biggest plot. It’s set back off the road and hidden so feels very private.

Yep, it looked ok from a distance but it was a real mess. Ivy growing up the fence. The previous owner had starting using wire to keep branches from over hanging so had to be careful what we threw in chipper. They let it grow like that for 20 years without cutting anything and managing it so it grew out of control. Two trees to be cut down though unfortunately but we will plant new ones soon.

I’m glad my wife isn’t on here. You’ve done in a few weeks similar to what she’s been asking me to do for a year.

Haha we did not stop.

The front drive, me and the father in law did, took about 4/5hrs none stop. Whilst he cut, I chipped. That big chipper just took big long branches in, no messing. I just threw it in and walked away to grab more. Think it was £117 for half day hire incl delivery and collection. I managed to get it delivered sat and collected Monday.

Wasn’t just the drive either, we had loads left from the garden also.
