I might get one of the garden. As to the OP, I am interested in house plants and Bonsai could we have a "show us your indoor plants/Bonsai tree" thread?

I got 2 sets I got my OLD plants (before fire) and BnQ had a BOFFon 'em so I cheered up and got some others.

My favourites are BAMBOO, BONSAI and CACTUS.

Now I have about 5 mini Cactus's all in brown pots but 2 have "proper" lookin desgins so I am dying to try out a terrarium for cactus's

HERE IS AN EG:

Ok, guys- maybe streach it alittle. I used to have a water feature well 2. One was lilly and real small too small an d buggy for £20/BnQ and then I got a motherlofo which I will link but is too big for this room. I want summit in the midddle or make my own as Ive a 10w (working pump). I like idea of pots but lighting I would like. Feng Shui mebbie? Ok next pics are mine

Share tips too on plant food and stuff. Feed once a month? water a week? Overwatering is a problem with newbies

Garden won't get much attention until next year as there is plenty to be doing in the house. Need to tidy up the top area. Might look to install some raised beds to grow some veg in or something. There is a disused pond to fill also.

Been doing the garden for about 3-4 weeks at nights, pretty much done now. Just need some furniture for the decking, a bit of decorative stone in front/round the sides of the decking and near the sleepers at the front, to pressure wash and repoint the patio (it's actually sandstone in colour.... honest) and to wait for the weed and feed to kill off the nasties in my grass then overseed.

Did most of the woodwork myself apart from the playset, had the most fun on the picnic bench.

Trampoline isn't that shape, my phone appears to have stitched the photos together at that point!

Lots of 6x2 and 4x2, took a while but I know it's going to last.

Well we're moving house shortly and we are going from one awful garden to a very nice one. Much bigger, nicer house too. Excuse the garden picture, the dogs' had done their business, its at its very worst!

New:

Recent work I've done.

Made a border approx 18" wide to go along the fence and filled with Dwarf Lavender.

Then widened in the corner and filled with more plants, looks a bit bare atm but should fill out nicely. Might have to rejig things a little next summer.

Pruned my pleached Hornbeam. It's coming along nicely, still a few small gaps but it'll fill out.

Moved some plants around in a border I made last year.

Anyone any good recommendations on patio cleaning products that will keep it clean for more than 1 winter?

p.s. will get photos up of the rest of the garden over the weekend

At my last place I tried this & that on the patio, nothing worked, ended up washing it every year.:(

Most of the crud came from the surrounding trees & bushes, moss off the roof, etc, etc.
Within weeks you had a green algae start appearing, got the same happening with the patio here, getting slimey, it was only washed 5 months ago.

Some pics as promised. As you can see I haven't mastered not scalping the grass on the hill. It also gets a lot of abuse with the kids running/sliding up and down it. Overall the grass is terrible, wet and shade closest to the house and just very bad maintenance from me for the rest of it. Need to get the garden back to looking respectable.
