Post your hardware failures and WIN A 4GB Flash Voyager Mini

Corsair HX 520W ATX PSU: Went to psu heavan just last week, no bang, smoke, not even a 'bink'. Working fine one night, usual shutdown, came home from work the following day and it wouldn't power up. RMA'd, got a replacement.

Asus K8V SE Deluxe: System freshly built a few years back, refused to do anything, RMA'd, got a replacement.

Brand new Gigabyte GA-EP43-S3L motherboard on a new build (built 2 systems - mine on a whim as seemed such good value - and mine is the borked one). I've just discovered that all my problems are due to slots 1 and 3 being used in dual channel mode - memtest list 3000 errors in first 6% of testing. Both memory sticks test fine on their own. However, it passes memtest in slots 2 and 4 - so now i've got to decide whether i RMA the board and be without my desktop for however long these things take to sort out...

Iiyama Pro 450 CRT 19"
Old Asus motherboard (I can't remember the model number)
Old Gigabyte motherboard (I can't remember the model number)
Another old Gigabyte motherboard (I can't remember the model number)

Right that's it!! My next CRT is not going to be from Ilyama. No more motherboards from Asus or Gigabyte either... Didn't someone say something about DFI as well...

Gee isn't this thread going to be useful to everyone...

Fail (... to the whole thread - except the broken condom )

Erm, not much considering how much kit I've had over the years.

Gigabyte GA8-IRXP (old 845DDR board) - caps popped and became unstable. Got a mate who's handy with a soldering iron to replace the caps
ATI Rage Pro 128 card - heatsink fell off, GPU fried
ATI Radeon 9800 Pro - faulty RAM - artifacts everywhere
17" Belinea TFT - backlight fault - kept flickering.
2x IBM Deskstar 120GXP. Both failed after around 4 years.
