You guys will laugh, but I don't care, it does it's job and I'm only 14 so I can't afford too much.

My old Hitachi 26" CRT.

Plus Xbox Elite, Wii, Sky+

Any questions, please ask.

I had an amp in there before, it was my brothers, more of a hi-fi though. It had like foot tall speakers, I think like 8 watts a channel, something poor like that. The amp was a Thompson, it just looked ugly as sin and my new tv has awesome speakers so I ditched it. My PC has a NAD Series 20 amp, with some Wharfedale XP2 speakers, 35 watts a channel. Powerful as hell. Pictures of my desktop setup in the Desk thread sooner or later. Thanks btw.

I started out same way as you guys, with a two channel set up and an old TV. over the years 918 or so of them in my case) you upgrade stuff and keep some stuff (my CD player is an old technics SLPG320A). I've tried many times to find one I like the sound of more, and have had money burning a hole in my pocket desparate to buy one (ones that I knew were technically better), but just couldn't find one Iliked. what i'm saying is don't think just cos it's new it's better

Terrible photo but:

What is your Pro-Ject sitting on?[/QUOTE]

Home made, took a bit of time but quite simple. 2 bits of micro fibre board cut to exactly the same shape (clamp together then cut, sand etc). sealer undercoat primer spray then lots of coats of gloss black spray paint from big diy store, sanding with wet and dry inbetween coats to get piano black look. I then bought 4 solid cone equipment rack feet (£40 or so) for the lower plinth. Then came the difficult part, I wanted the lower plinth solid, but the top plinth able to "float" a bit to absorp vibrations etc. I'd come accross some stuff I used to use some years ago in operating theatres to stop pressure sores, kinda like a solid liquid if that makes sense, kinda like jelly wrapped in cling film but indistructable. Thing is it wasn't cos when I tried to cut it up it oozed every where. I eventually hit on the stuff women buy to put in their high heel shoes to stop them hurting, and it works great. Total job cost about £60 and i'm real pleased with it. If you're interrested let me know and i'll try and post some more pics

My Nad Series 20 AMP (35 watts a channel) hooked up to my PC at the moment, makes the walls bounce when turning the bass right up. Speakers are Wharfedale XP2's.

Nice amp, my brother used to have that exact one :)

Funny how NAD stuff is awesome quality but just looks like utter cheap crap (IMO) lol :D
