Personally I sat in 8 postions in and around the sofa with the mic at ear height.pefect for me :)

Should be "fun" calibrating it all... so much to think about!

Going to run the Audyssey setup first, then setup the sub...... then once i feel i'm up to it (!) i'll do it "properly" with REW... now THAT is hardcore :D :(

It's our last few weeks in our current student house so we thought we'd try and throw together the lowest budget home cinema possible. Results aren't all that bad:

Connected to XBOX360/Virgin box/PS3/PC. Not shown in the picture are the duvets used to block light through the window.

What size tv can the lack take up to? Got a sony 32" lcd. Also got a marantz amp, sky + box and macmini cambridge dac to fit.

Also if anyones got the measurements that would be great.

Can you please tell me where you got your projetor stand/mount from. Ive been looking for something like that for ages but haven't been able to find it.

Looking at it closely I bet it's one of those one off custom jobs, and there's just no way i'm going to be able to buy one in the shops right??!

Also are the devices you used to raise the second row of seating custom made? I'm guessing v expensive accoustic clay or something of the like. man when I was a student we had it hard, not like you guys with all your la-de-da home cinema and custom made doohickies
