Post Your Home Cine & HiFi Kit...

cheers tank - its DIY but it helps when your dad is a builder ;) Need a heat bowl for centre cut out and need to tidy cables away - i.e. lamp and sub. Its almost there. :)

It had a crappy gas fire with a poor surround - built the fake chimney out etc. Blue yucky carpet has also gone - old people owned the property before ourselves

I'm sure I saw a build thread on avforums of yours a while back :)

Looks awesome and love the chunky wood shelves!!!!

Very nice kyle!!
Thanxs mate!:)

That's an awesome view Kyle. Is that a batchelor pad? you must be living like Hugh Hefner up there mate - all you need is a hottub now :)
no, im not a bachelor, actually I live with my girlfriend, she loves that style too...:D

you didn't include pictures of the kitchen???
Lol...
hey men, i just add a few pictures of kitcken, it is not to big, but is enought for me.;)

Pretty envious of all of that Kyle.:) Lovely, clean setup is an apartment of equal style.
Bet that sub rumbles half the block!

Generally photos don't do screens/PJ justice but there so's much detail is Sam Worthington's face in this one

Yeah, not permanently but I have a Velodyne DD15 and an SVS PC13 Ultra at the moment.

Do you get problems with cancellations when using multiple subs? I normally find having all the subs in the same place works well.

I guess I'd better post up a pic, got a new amp recently, only got around to testing it today. The gain control is pretty whacky, has anyone else used one of these or know where I can download a manual?

It's the big amp btw:

Here's my setup. My next upgrade will be a bigger bedroom/house! (note the frosty jack caps keeping the heat off the amp!)

new stereo setup.

awaiting move to new flat before getting the new speakers for it. they wont fit in the current flat where i need them to!

currently running a pair of Quad 12L's, but am looking at getting a pair of Martin Logan's for this setup.:)

damn, that setup is pretty nice. Id probably have to give up half my years wage to pay for it though unfortunately :(

They have been EQ'd independantly and then they are run out of phase. The overall response looks good (on the sms1) but more importantly sounds and feels good.

Its more for a bit of fun really and even running them at correct, calibrated level deffinately adds something to the experience. I have a flat response to well below 15hz

Here's my first setup in my first house :)

Samsung LED backlit 46" TV
Alphason TV stand
Pioneer VSX 1019 av amp
Pioneer BDP320 blu-ray
Monitor Audio Bronze speakers (left / right / centre / sub)
Monitor Audio ceiling speakers (rear)
Sonos multi room audio system
Virgin TV

Going to get a Popcorn Hour C-200 and PS3 in the new year when funds permit.
