Not quite as nice as a lot of other setups in this thread. I have always been against buying certain brands but money being tight we had to make do with what budget we had. I really wanted to buy a 50-52" Sony or Panasonic TV. I couldnt afford either so we went for an LG instead.

Anyway the gear.

LGPS3000 50" Full HD Plasma
Acoustic Energy Aego P5 Surround Sound (Old but still does the job)
Sony BDPS560 (Free :-)
Humax PVR9200T

For us this is ideal. We dont go out much now we have our own place. Most nights are spent watching films and TV.

Next up will probably be an upgrade of the surround sound system. The tv picture is not as dark as it appears in the picture. It is going through the 'run in' stage at the moment.

ikea dude, it discontinued ages ago, well the end parts did, you can still get the middle part I think ,

Need to get wall brackets for the speakers and convince my mum to move the mirror, but at the moment she is having non of it plus the fact I think my dad wants to buy more speakers already hasn't put her in a good mood haha :D :D

Ive seen the rack before, think someone posted a link about the details etc but Ive lost it.
