The only cost on top of the monthly cost (£50 + line rental) was the postage for the home hub which I didn't want anyway as I have an edge router

Quite handy the cab is within spitting distance. Be interesting to see if it's any better once I swap out the modem and router, I doubt much if any.

and it hasn't even reached full speed yet (should be 330/30)

So have you found anywhere to max out that connection yet?

Just had BT Infinity enabled nice boost from 8mb previously.

Deleted and re downloaded GTA V from steam for lols, hit 35MB/s

Not exactly a great feat to get a 5Gb connection between 2 computers. The real test is whether the backhaul network can even handle an entire neighbourhood of simultaneous 5Gb connections, which I highly doubt.
