Potential Criminal Yodel Driver Came to My House Today Videos Included.

OK so I ordered a bathroom cabinet from eBay and the courier was Yodel. I get a notification on my camera and can see him open his van knock on the door and ring the bell and then shout hello on my driveway. This seemed odd to me that he shouted hello and then rings the bell and tries the door. Delivery drivers in my experience will ring a bell then get going if no answer not shout hello.

He then proceeds to take the two boxes I ordered from his van and leave then next to my garage past the side of my house, no problem.

Then the really strange part is after he has walked past the camera his van empty handed after leaving two boxes he retrieves a wellington boot from his van. He then walks down the front of the house again and past the camera for a little while with said boot. He then comes back with the boot and throws it in his van.

Now where he is walking to is my garage with a side door which was unlocked. I have had a look and can't really see anything missing inside but there's a lot of things not worth a lot (some weights, so bits and bats in boxes a nice bike though but I don't think that fits in his boot.

What is going on here? Why did he take a wellington boot or similar from his van and then walk towards my garage and then back to his van and throw the boot in his van.

He looks really dodgy to me and what's with the boot?

Vid 1 -

Shows him arrive knock on the door ring the bell and try the door (the video freezes on the upload just as he tries but I can see on my phone)

Vid 2 -

Shows him bring the boxes from his van to near my garage out of site. He takes longer than he should as the boxes were left just out of view and it seems like I can hear my garage side door close and then he skips back to the van to make up time.
It then Shows him retrieve his boot from his van and then walk out of view of the cam towards my garage and then back with the boot in the van

Any ideas please?

I was thinking he peed in the boot and went to pour it out, until I noticed he could have just poured it in the bushes next to his van!

Sometimes you just can't apply logic to illogical people!

Check with your neighbour he hasn't had anything stolen. Email him the video, you probably have his email already.

Perhaps used it to prop his phone up, to get a photo of him stood with the parcels in the location they were left?

Something is going on - I've rung Yodel and sent them the video to investigate, don't appreciate him trying my door but I know it happens. Would like answers about the wellington boot

Perhaps he's required to take a photo of his delivery with the boot because Yodel is a weird delivery company ?

Probably something like this because it looks like he has his gadget in his other hand that they record deliveries on.

Shouting hello isn't strange either as quite a few do it here in case someone is working in the back garden. Plenty of them (out postie included) try the door so that they can drop the package off inside the house. I wish they wouldn't do this but it is what it is. These guys are run ragged and are paid peanuts per delivery.
