Potential Criminal Yodel Driver Came to My House Today Videos Included.

I bet there is nothing valuable missing or you would have mentioned it. Nothing broken or damaged either I bet.

You already know no crime was committed and the guy left parcels for you in what he deemed to be a safe place. I doubt anyone would leave a garage unlocked if it had “valuables” stored in it as you claim. And if you did good luck claiming off any insurance policy.

So what we have is the worlds most incompetent criminal who gets caught on camera leaving valuables at the scene of a “crime”. Not only that he left fingerprints and on every door handle on your house, and footprints on the drive.

I often wonder why people order things for delivery knowing there will be nobody at home when a delivery is attempted. Especially for large bulky and usually expensive items. They then complain when the delivery driver refuses to leave it “somewhere safe”. Or they complain when the delivery driver does leave it somewhere safe and it gets stolen. Or even worse, they post publicly available videos of the poor delivery driver doing his job and accuse them of crimes.

Am I the only one thinking you are the problem here, not the delivery driver?

And take a deep breath. I have many things in that garage and would have no idea if something was missing. Just asking for opinions on why a delivery driver came to my house with a welly and getting advice. Just because he left the parcel doesn't mean nothing else happened. Explain the welly. I'm all ears.

What prompted you to check the cctv in the first place after all your parcel was delivered and I assume you got it.

Unless you saw the notification that cctv had been triggered and decided to watch them in real time. Either way its an odd thing to do.
That's the one. I saw notification on my phone and wanted to see if he left the parcel or took it back. Very odd indeed!

I think this mystery is solved in post 21 https://forums.overclockers.co.uk/t...videos-included.18968830/page-2#post-36253061

Setup a fake boot in a doorway (garage here), snap pic showing homeowner boot in said doorway, proof of delivery confirmed.

Can you see the POD photos on Yodel tracking?

That'll answer if he was faking a boot in the corner of a POD photo.

Last year we were at a wedding and my Mrs got a notification from Yodel.
It showed a delivery on our back step and I thought I had left the padlock undone on the gates because the step is a good 20 foot away from the gates.
I quickly put my CCTV on and the guy had hurled the bag over the gate and it landed on the step :)
it was only clothes so 10/10 for effort.

At this point who really cares, you got your parcel, guy probably just emptied his pee bottle/boot (is there a drain nearby?) as no one was in, if you want to be petty and get someone sacked for having to pee in a boot because his employer treats them like garbage being over worked and underpaid, that's your choice to make if your that petty. Otherwise drop it and move on with your life.

The more I see it the more the thread title reads like something from the daily mail.

BOOT OF FEAR ON YOUR DOORSTEP!

Law abiding home owners demand urgent action from the authorities following a surge in sinister Wellington boot related parcel delivery incidents. Turn to pages 2, 3, 4 and 7 for more shocking details.

As has been said it will probably be to stage the photo for delivery.

These guys have no time to hang around so and you should have had a notification for the delivery time to be in to receive it.
