golf 1.3 59/0.9 - 65bhp/ton
BMW 535d - 211 HP/ton
I think I win the diesel power-to-weight badge of rattly fail?
what about no trailer? thats sure to beat us all
Kerb weight excluding driver: 1660 KgStock power/weight of the 535d is 162bhp/ton, so unless you've found another 100bhp or so, or found a way to lose 400kg of weight, I just don't see it...
Kerb weight excluding driver: 1660 Kg
Power: 350 HP
1000/1660*350 = 210.84
Kerb weight excluding driver: 1660 Kg
Power: 350 HP
1000/1660*350 = 210.84
Most of the figures in the thread were excluding driver so I thought it appropriate to follow suit.
Including the standard driver and luggage it is 1735 Kg, so 202 HP/ton
Mine? The kerb weight published by BMW for the LCI E60 535d is 1660 Kg excluding driver and luggage or 1735 Kg including driver and luggage. The standard power output is 286 HP. Mine produces 350 HP.Which 535d has 350bhp and only weighs 1660kg? The latter cars were more like 1750kg and 294bhp?
It's actually 272 HP and 286 HP, but we'll leave the metric/imperial HP differences at the doorLike I said, unless you've found another 100 or so BHP. The stock power for a 535d weighing around 1660kg is either 270 or 284bhp Even the current model has 300ish bhp but weighs more to give a similar bhp/ton.
