Power to weight ratio of your car?

After a 1L C1 and a 1.2L Fiesta I feel I can finally contribute something worthwhile to this thread (though not in the order of 200bhp/tonne).

BMW Z4 2.5i
192 BHP
1335kg (with 75kg load & 90% fuel)
146 BHP/Ton (UK Long)

ST205 Celica GT-Four.

Decat, filter, EBC and modified charge cooling system.

321 BHP /1360kg = 236BHP/T.

Hoping this year to get stand alone ECU and hybrid turbo then run it till the pistons go ;). Should be around 260-70 BHP/T then.

It all means diddly squat though as most likely my transmission losses are diabolical but I can put the power down :P.

Any way you could lose some weight from the car comfortably?

I already have fiberglass front wings but got to get them painted first. Relocated battery to boot with a lightweight one. Mine is already a light weight version as it doesn't have ABS, airbags or a sunroof ;). It also has a massive 70 liter tank so I can save weight there only filling it half ;)

You can strip these to 1100kg's if really anal but it is a weekend/odd track day car and as such I like to have a full interior and air con :).

E class AMG, 350 bhp, about 1700 kg, I can't be bothered to work it out; only saloon bar willy wavers give a **** about bhp/ton... It's all about torque and traction until the speed is pretty high.

Waiting to pick it up from the factory at the moment.

Had clear lenses and new headlights lights fitted since these pics.

Can't wait!

Mind-blowing power and torque! AND that s/c whine!:D
