If you want to save a fraction of headache, they actually do a plugs and screws kit for £25:
It's a good way to get to grips with different screw sizes/plug sizes.... Whilst a 6 is generally fine, on crap surfaces I sometimes whack in a big boy, and then slot a 6 inside of it.
Well the items turned up.
Missing the wall plugs and was sent an impact driver and not the combination drill I ordered!
Yeah I spoke to their customer service yesterday. It seems their central warehouse is a bit missed up at the moment. She said she could get another sent out but it's highly likely I'll receive the same item again Going to exchange it after work at my local branchHaha, no way. I followed your post and discussion and made the exact same purchase, and received the wrong item too
Yeah, I ended up doing the same. Bloke at the desk had to check it himself twice to make sure it was the right one.Yeah I spoke to their customer service yesterday. Take a small mortgage out for blades. They just seem to get crapper and crapper, and more and more expensive.Ordered a DeWalt cordless multi tool. Needed for cutting through some redundant pipes under the floor but will be useful for other things too I think.
Dcs355 bare tool (already have XR batteries, drill, impact driver). £86 off Amazon, 5 installments interest free.
I use these wall plugs too and can confirm they are great. The box they come in is good too. I now just buy big packs of refills for the different size wall plugs as I need them.If you want to save a fraction of headache, they actually do a plugs and screws kit for £25:

I used the Sawzall for metal now.
You want the ones with the back cut out designed for quick release. Loads of different brands available including toolstation and screwfix own brands which are a lot cheaper than dewalt. Are all the blade fitments the same or do I need a specific type?
I need to watch a video on this quick release.... my Milwaukee has the lever thing on top, but I don't see how it'd ever work if you didn't fiddle with the flat head large bolt on the bottom. You want the ones with the back cut out designed for quick release. You can fit the bosh ones but they require an allen key which is a PITA.
So are the Fishcer duopower plugs. Any others I should look at?
New build house so the whole thing is practically plasterboard and a thin veneer of paint!I find the Fischer duoblade plugs so much better than rawlplugs; really night and day. Obviously only if you're going into plasterboard

And even when you replace, the old one goes into the "just in case" boxYeh and you end up using them until they’re basically a spoon.
Have to totally agree with that. And even when you replace, the old one goes into the "just in case" box

I’ve not used the Milwaukee but on the dewalt you just squeeze the silver handle and pull the blade off the front, it’s really simple but very effective mechanism.I need to watch a video on this quick release.... my Milwaukee has the lever thing on top, but I don't see how it'd ever work if you didn't fiddle with the flat head large bolt on the bottom.
