Perhaps they left the status for the OcUK (lower priced) ones as 'pre-order' just in case they weren't able to ship them all out today... and we might even find that it has been removed altogether by tomorrow!

It would not seem unreasonable for customers who had paid the higher price (and I am sure there must be some!) to expect that their orders would be despatched at the earliest opportunity... once stocks were physically available, that is.

Just my thoughts on the matter anyway, which I can't substantiate in anyway whatsoever!

But I notice that the price on the OC 6850 just changed (Yet still being the same Asus card)

Perhaps they're getting booked in now.

That makes sense, although many of those people will be people who bought it at 89.99 from that listing.

Looks like anyone who hasn't ordered by now has missed the boat unfortunately... hang on though, a second ago they were showing as Out of Stock... now there's 4 available at £103.99... not for long though, I bet!

Edit: Oops... it's changed again... showing 10+ in stock now... but still at the higher price though.

It is looking like there will be more than a few happy OcUK customers tomorrow though! :)

But now aren't the 6870 like £120? That would probably tempt me away from a £104 6850.

Not only that, I think the actual Asus 6850 is £108. I'd definitely get the 6870 if they were that close in price.

I can just picture the scene at OcUK HQ... everyone who can be spared is packing and shipping these just as fast as they can... and Gibbo is standing there with an evil expression on his face, cracking his whip at anyone who dares to pause for even a moment!

The courier driver is outside, waiting to go, but is being bribed with offers of tea (and biscuits!) to hang on for just a bit longer!
