Within Heaven Benchmark, my 6850 @ 960/1100 scores the same as my 6950 2GB at stock speeds. Both do 34.5fps @ 1920x1200.

These are great little cards for the money.
 
That they are.

However, I'm trying to stick to stock voltage as much as possible, as I've got the cards right next to each other, in a mATX case, and I've manually set the fan speed lower... so adding extra volts to the mix probably isn't going to be good for the temps :D

I'm going to put a 120mm over the cards tonight, and then my aim is to get 900/1050 (6870 clocks) and leave them there. If I get more then yay :D

I still need to get round to OC'ing the CPU as well :o
 
OK some quick and dirty overclocking using the Uningine Heaven Benchmark as a stability test @ DX11, normal tessellation, high shaders, 16xAF and 4xAA yields some rough clocks of 925/1175Mhz @ stock voltage (1.157V).
 
Not sure if anyone else is interested in doing the same, but I took off the cooler to replace the stock, thickly applied TIM with some Arctic Silver which has dropped my load temps by 2 or 3 degrees.

First thing I did before installing. Worth it as it wont be moving for a few years.
